Arcade game of the week: NinJump by backflip studios

NinJump is an excellent game to spend your time on. It has the perfect combination of awesome gameplay, stunning graphics and sound. It's been six years since the game was released but still it feels like new.

It's an infinite scrolling game which means there is no end to the game unless it's game over. You'll be playing as a Ninja . The main objective of the game is to climb as high as possible. As you go up your score will increase. While climbing there will be obstacles on the way. You can avoid them by tapping the screen there by jumping to the other side of the building or you can attack those obstacles by jumping.  Basically that's the whole point of the game. You also get a speed boost if you hit same obstacles three times in a row. The obstacles include birds, shuriken, other ninjas etc. You also get something called 'shield' which will protect you from the obstacles. But remember one thing that is one shield can only block only one obstacle. You can get shields along the way while you are climbing or you can activate it manually. But you'll be having only one shield that can be manually activated. If you want more shields you can purchase them through the in-app purchase feature.

Even though it's an arcade game it has excellent graphics and sound effects. Most devices will be able to play this game without lag. The game has a well designed main menu and interface. Like many other free games this game also comes with ads. But you can remove them through in-app purchase.
